Training in the North
Northland Hairdressing Training Centre, is a modern private facility located in Whangarei, which concentrates on providing high calibre tuition/training in the skills of hairdressing.
The Training Centre boasts excellent training facilities, 14 style stations in a fully equipped salon, with lecture theatre, study areas and student lounge for use between lectures and practical sessions.
Senior Tutor Lisa Blagrove says "Being NZQA accredited means that the qualifications gained by the student trained at the centre will be officially recognised."

You need an eye for detail, good people skills, be able to listen and talk easily with clients which can be both physically & mentally demanding.
